My name is Mark Conner, and I've been a practicing accountant for thirteen years.  I got my start in the forensic accounting department of Clifton Gunderson, which is now CliftonLarsonAllen, one of top ten largest firms in the United States.  After I obtained my CPA license, I moved to Texas to focus on more traditional accounting, which included tax and financial statement attest functions - audit, compilation, and review.  This experience translated to helping small business owners not only succeed, but preserve the fruits of their labor.  

In late 2012, I established Mark Conner, CPA PLLC, with a simple vision: exceptional service at an affordable price. Too often, I have heard clients complain that their previous accountant was unreachable, and when he could be reached, the billing clock started to tick.  I believe that approach is not conducive to lasting business relationships, and I would much rather spend a few minutes on the phone to engage and understand the issues.
